1. Unit pumps are mainly composed of a plunger and plunger sleeve, without a camshaft, and some unit pumps even do not have roller transmission components. The unit pumps is convenient to be designed near the cylinder head and greatly shortens the high-pressure oil pipe, so it’s widely used in high-power, medium and low-speed diesel engines with a cylinder diameter over 200mm;

2. The fuel injection pump, also known as the high-pressure fuel pump, is the most important component in the fuel system. The function of the fuel injection pump is to increase fuel pressure and inject a certain amount of fuel into the combustion chamber at an accurate time according to the requirements of the diesel engine.
