Features/Functions:

Advantages:

1. Can be made by smaller forging equipment, lower cost;

2. Not sensitive to stress concentration, with fatigue strength close to that of medium carbon steel;

3. Good wear resistance and far superior damping effect on torsional vibration compared to steel.

Disadvantages:

1. Low toughness;

2. Concentrate all the work produced by combustion gases in every cylinders and output it in rotational motion.
